Transcript of Dr. Sharon Goldberg’s lecture (doctor in the USA) :

I’m Sharon Goldberg, I’m an internal medicine physician. I have practiced medicine for 21 years and my background is primarily academic, internal medicine, hospital, clinical research and medical education.

I’m going to skip several of the things I wanted to say because I didn’t realize it was only five minutes. Wireless radiation has biological effects, period. This is no longer a subject of debate. When you look at PubMed and the peer-reviewed literature, these effects are manifested in all life forms, plants, animals, insects, microbes. In humans, we now have clear evidence of cancer, there is no doubt about it. We have evidence of DNA damage, cardiomyopathy, which is the precursor to congestive heart failure, neuropsychiatric effects,

So 5G is not a conversation about whether or not these biological effects exist. Clearly they exist. 5G is a conversation about unsustainable health care spending. Why am I saying this? We’ve been sitting on the evidence of EMR and chronic disease for decades and now we’re seeing all these epidemics.

So diabetes is the first epidemic. I think most of you know the statistics. They’re very scary. One in three American children will become diabetic in their lifetime, and if it is a Hispanic woman, the figure is one in two. Okay, so what does this have to do with wireless radiation. Wireless radiation and other electromagnetic fields, such as magnetic fields and dirty electricity, have been clearly associated with increased blood sugar levels and diabetes. This is what the peer review literature says. That’s not an opinion.

The closer you live to a cell phone tower, the higher your blood glucose level as measured by hemoglobin a1c. So the idea of scientifically placing small cells closer to people’s homes and bedrooms is very dangerous. And from an economic point of view, it’s dangerous. And you may not know this, I was shocked to hear this, but the way you create a model of diabetes… of diabetes in rats in the lab is by exposing them to 2.4 gigahertz. And it’s not for long-term exposure.

So I don’t have time to talk about the costs, but the huge problem with diabetes is actually chronic kidney disease. End-stage kidney disease, the worst complication of diabetes, leads to hemodialysis. Hemodialysis is an automatic qualification for Medicare and if you don’t qualify for Medicare, we still have to dialyze the patient and the state ends up paying in many different cases. So kidney failure represents one percent of medicare, but it takes up seven percent of all medicare expenditures.

I don’t have time to talk about that now, but again, we have…so the other epidemics that science says are clearly related to electromagnetic radiation are related to mental health. And this is, this is straight out of PubMed. That’s not my opinion. It’s science, okay?

Questioner: For those of us who are not doctors. What’s PubMed?

I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I’m sorry. It’s right here, the, uh, National Library of Medicine. That’s where you’d go. It’s just peer-reviewed literature. So we have three outbreaks that are clearly one and the same. We have deteriorating mental health in the United States. And if you really look at the science, what does it show? And these epidemics are our epidemic of suicides, epidemics of violent crime, so shootings and the opiate epidemic. And I don’t have five minutes, now is not the time to talk about this. It’s in the peer-reviewed literature. I have a file to submit for the record, but these are facts. These are, and these are things that have just been overlooked by the wireless industry, and I really don’t have time to talk about them in five minutes. I’d like to do that, but we need to look at our outbreaks in the context of our exposure to EMFs.

What does that mean? That means the CDC, which tracks these outbreaks, has to. We need to start measuring the amount of radiation people are exposed to before we deploy 5G, which means that there are four types of electromagnetic fields that we know are harmful to human health. So radio frequency, radiation, magnetic fields, dirty electricity and electric fields. Our exposure, any given individual, and all humans are affected by EMFs, our given exposure, has nothing to do with the research that my colleagues are going to situate under the national toxicology program. This is a risk assessment of a near-field cell phone. All right.

What is our exposure in one day? It’s not a cell phone, they’re cell phones. This is a serious occupational health, public safety and personal security issue, and I believe it is irresponsible to talk about the Internet and deploy new, untested technology when we do not even measure our current exposure to current networks.

Will this information and the testimony of intelligent people like Sharon Goldberg be enough to stop the deployment of 5G? Unfortunately, I doubt it. And even if it does, we are still inundated with 4G, WiFi, cell phones, mobile phone towers and more. That’s where Body Guard comes in. Body Guard products are the only ones that dephase electromagnetic waves and therefore cancel out their harmful effects, without disturbing the operation of the various wave emitting devices.
